ROXANNE STAM

Roxanne worked as creative assistant director & second unit director for international series Heirs of The Night (Amazon prime, BBC, NPO3) and the feature PENOZA the last chapter (Diederik van Rooijen). Her short film BULLSHIT starring actress Eva Laurenssen was screened in 2019 & 2020 at Rotterdams Open Doek, Rialto For Short, Fête de la Femme & Cultuurnacht Breda. Recently Kyiv International Film Festival selected this work too and the film is available at Cinetree. Last year she worked as creative assistant director & acting coach on the feature film I don't wanna dance (Flynn von Kleist) and Zee van Tijd (Theu Boermans). Both films are still to be released. Currently, Roxanne is developing a youth film with the production company The Rogues (De Libi, Tienminutengesprek) and just delivered eight new music video's for 'Kinderen voor Kinderen' 2020 that she directed. 

 

Roxanne Stam (1988) graduated in 2012 as a theatre director & teacher from AHK, Amsterdam School of the Arts. She then worked for, among others, Toneelgroep Amsterdam (ITA), AHK, Jeugdtheaterschool Zuid-Oost and DEGASTEN. As an acting coach, she previously worked with the young cast of A'dam - E.V.A., KLEM, De Ludwigs and Vechtershart. She was the assistant director for One Happy Day (Reber Dosky), Hoe het zo kwam dat de ramenlapper hoogtevrees kreeg (Eva MC Zanen), the series FENIX (Shariff Korver, available on Netflix) & feature film De Matchmaker (Jeroen Houben, available on Netflix).
