When 52-year-old Nora plays her supporting role for the umpteenth performance and again undergoes the toxic behaviour of the theatre company and the bullying of the lead male actor, she decides to take matters into her own hands.

Women Over 50 Film Festival - Jury Report:

"A film in which the heroine appears to be a victim, and then, turns it all spectacularly on its head in unrepentantly horrific fashion. It is refreshing to see her get her revenge and to revel in it.

The film also naturalistically pulls off the feat of filming actors being actors onstage and offstage. There is so much going on in the verbal and physical language of the film as well and it bears several views to unpick all its metaphors and symbolism. Bravo!

This film really made us think. The fluid movement of the camerawork also gives it a pace that seems to mirror her varying emotions. We reach into the very grimy grubby underworld of the stage and then back up into the bright lights where at the end she rises triumphant and elated. Many congratulations – we loved this film."
